Great beach. Not busy and great for swimming or body boarding.
Heaps of people were enjoying sun bathing in the beach.
If you are not a strong or confident swimmer, it might be difficult to keep with the waves.
Fantastic beach, better for those that have good swimming skills.
There is no shady corner, so bring an umbrella or something similar if you want some shade.

We were thrilled to find this quiet beach away from the much busier parts of Nelson Bay. Pitched our tent and relaxed in peace for the day. Beach was clean, water was a little choppy but that didn't stop us enjoying ourselves.

Zenith beach is located between two headlands at the base of Tomaree mountain to the north and Stephens Peak to the south . It’s nestled inside the National Park with some excellent coastal bush walks which start from the car park.

Beautiful beach, on the wild side. Early risers can enjoy fantastic sunrise and there is plenty of room to run. Alternatively you can , I dare you!, climb over the rocks to Box Beach.

Zenith Beach was one of a number of beautiful beaches along this stretch of coast and adjacent to Box Beach which was larger and prettier. Access is via a decent sized car park and a short walk to what was a peaceful and pretty stretch of beach and sand.

This is a stunning beach, easily accessible from Shoal Bay; maybe a 10 minute walk. A few tips:

- this beach is never patrolled; never
- if swimming, stick near the shoreline as it gets deep fairly quickly and there can be mild rips. It’s fine in small waves though
- there is an even better, smaller and totally private beach to the south. Climb over the rocks and go around the headland and I swear you’ll have this little piece of paradise to yourself. Best at lower tide.
- if you go, be sure to bring your rubbish back with you to be disposed of properly.

If you really hate crowded beaches and you are not at the beach to go for a long swim but rather for a dip or some surfing this beach might be the best.
When we visited the beach there were the two of us and 4 other people. So, we really enjoyed this quiet place.
The waves can be quite high and when you travel with children, please, either watch them all the time or go to a beach on the other side (facing Port Stephens).
Last time we visited some stupid people left some rubbish at the beach. Not nice! So, stay environmentally friendly and take the rubbish back to the car park and use a rubbish bin there.

This has got to be the most beautiful beach in the World!

The sand is so clean, white and soft, and although the sea was cold (only had a paddle), I am sure in the summer months it will be wonderful.

Totally breathtaking
