Very provincial, meaning no hotel rooms available for staying. Electricity is limited from 4:00pm until 12 midnight. it's a beautiful place to visit yet one must know somebody there to stay with.

Stayed with a friend. Strictly native living. Food consists of rice, freshly caught fish, freshly killed pork and chicken and locally grown sweet potatoes and yuca. Bare essentials can be purchased relatively cheap at "home" trading shops and it appears that everyone on the island...More
