Located just a stone throw away from the Municipal Hall of Baler and Baler Plaza. It houses the memorabilia of Former President Quezon and his First Lady Aurora Quezon...that takes you back to yesteryears. A must see attraction in Baler. Entrance is very minimal.

Learn all about Baler-its historical significance and some of the town's most prominent figures. Some pre-colonial artifacts are also on display here as well.
It's not a big, fancy museum but it possesses a small town charm plus the art decor building itself with its frescos is an architectural gem.

Typical musuem which showcases history of Baler, the Quezon Family and film "Baler". The facility has space enough for a number of people and just a stone throws away from Baler Plaza in Poblacion.

If you are heading to Baler, make sure you visit this museum as it showcases a lot of things and facts about the history of Baler, Aurora.
I seriously enjoyed looking around the entire museum. I learned a lot of things about it. The entrance fee was cheap and the place was huge enough for the crowd.

The Museum has different things to see. At the time that I visited the museum, there was no power that made the entire place to be hot.
You have to pay P30 in order for you to enter the place inclusive of the house of Dona Aurora Quezon. Unlike the other museum in Ilocos Region, there are no guide that explains each item displayed in the entire place. There are just people in front of the museum that lets you sign your name and how may girls and boys are you and you have to discover for yourself.
There were photos of Spanish soldiers in the 2nd floor of the museum but there was no description on who are they that made relevance to the history of Baler. There were art works that were displayed also in the 2nd floor that seems to be made by the students and was only displayed as "Pamparami"
Even the ad photo of the the actors of the movie "Baler" was displayed there. Yes, the movie showed some significant relevance on the history of Baler but not the movie itself. Even the suit that was used by Jericho Rosales was displayed there. "It is like Halo, Halo Together." Even the facebook frame that you can use during photo opt is broken already.

It's as hot as a pizza oven inside! They should have renovated the establishment to make it cooler and ventilated. Although it has a few electric fans, an air consitioner would have made things better.
I also wonder why the museum does not carry more info about the rich past of Baler as well as the way of life of their residents. All it contained were replicas and oil paintings and relics from a Tagalog MOVIE shot in Baler. Are there no real relics?

It is a modest 2 storey old house converted into a museum. Good educational tour to pass at least 2 hours, best of all, it is air conditioned inside!

This is a must see in Baler with wonderful paintings and beautiful structure of a museum. When in Baler, you need to visit the museum to appreciate the totality of the area as a province or as a municipality. They collect minimal entrance fee of 30pesos, but that includes the entrance fee to Maria Aurora's ancestral house. It is definitely worth visiting.

I would suggest that they would hire a in house guide to get the guest's interest to the place. Some people are not familiar to what do they have there. Also, Some guest would enjoy it when you have interest in the history. Innovation is key.
