Dona Aurora's house was re-built from the original. It is small, simple and gives you a glimpse of history with old photos with former President Manuel Luiz Quezon displayed at the library area and a huge painting of him and Dona Aurora greeting you at the receiving area of the house. Entrance fee is Php30/person inclusive of the entrance fee to Museo de Baler, so keep your receipt. :-)

Worth a look if you have no idea what a Nipa Hut is, but not much else really. The car is one of Manuel Quezon's and was last restored in 2009 you can get up close to it but not get inside

Its nice to see old houses..... brings back good old memories.
Yes it is an old house but it is well maintained.
Nice to see some memorabilias.
Bringing my children here gives them the feel of the actual history which the textbook cannot give.

compare to one house that we visit in Cebu. This place is well maintained, but sad cause there are no in house guide and we learn nothing from this place. Please please please, make room for improvement.some people are just clueless and guides might help. Thank you.

If this really was the former Pres. Quezon's Resthouse, boy, the President was really very simple. The house is quite small, the materials used were mostly wood. I have seen old houses where traces of grandeur are still noticeable. Must have been good to live during that time because even the person who holds the highest position in the country lived simply.

Like the Museum de Baler, Dona Aurora Quezon’s house is also for history buffs. It has photographs, paintings, and costumes on display. The dining room and library are remarkably well preserved.
Also parked on the grounds is the Chrysler Limousine used by Pres. Manuel Quezon during his term.
For those with senior citizens or little kids, there is a comfort room near the parked presidential car that is open to the public.

All travelers to Baler should include this to the places to see. Quite convenient to visit, when trying to see baler museum and baler church.
