Its not what i expected, the beach full of garbage and so as the street of Sabang beach. It remind of Lingayen gulf in Dagupan. We drove around South of the Island and some street are of garbage. Hopefully the Northern part is cleaner.

i'm not kidding with the above title. this place is the most frequently visited barangay in baler because it boasts of a 3 km stretch of fine gray sand. too bad the shore is littered with all sorts of trash - plastics, foils, food rubbish, styro, anong others.

a lot of inns, hotels and transient homes are in this place. souvenir shops, eateries and convenience stores are everywhere. parking spaces are very limited, though.

The blackish sand is smooth, but the whole area is now filled with trash of all sorts...Cigar butts, foils from snacks, old slippers, we even saw an old typewritter,,,they must start cleaning this beach, before it becomes another Boracay ....

The residents are welcoming and courteous, and they do interact well, albeit shyly, with the tourists and visitors.

The barangay is also clean and is peaceful.

My wife and i had a wonderful experience staying at Deluyon Sabang. The room is spacious and the amenities are first class. The staff is so friendly and they are always happy. We are so thankful to the management as they had taken every step in ensuring our food is halal which is prepared in accordance with strict muslim way and making sure the food are from halal source and the utensils are not mixed with other non halal products. Thank you so much Deluyon for your great hospitality. This is our first visit and certainly will not be our last. We promise to come back. Thank you.

Check online and you will get loads of blogs that will tell you how to maximize your trip and budget in a 2D&1N itinerary. I believe this place could be so much more if only there is a strong community spirit towards keeping the neighborhoods clean. It helps a lot that the ocean and shorelines are clean.

I want to thank everyone from this Barangay for helping me feel at home and for all of the genuine concern and assistance that it has provided to me while I have been transitioning to my new home and establishing my new business in Sabang. From the Barangay Captain, his Counsel and the rest of the entire Hall staff I sincerely appreciate your kind and professional assistance and support. Salamat one and all.

If you are a surfer then this is the place for you. Nothing else exists. A sprawling mess of hotels and lodges and the Costa hotel. had Sabang Baragay actually planned how they wanted the place to look in 20 years then they could have created lots of work for local people. Instead they have allowed a jungle of concrete to be erected spoiling the view of the bay. Poor town planning has ruined what could have been beautiful. A missed opportunity and a legacy for the future population of Baler.

Long stretch of fine brown sand with curling waves friendly enough for beginners – this is where I learn to surf and eventually became addicted. Baler might be approx 8 hours drive from Manila with a bit of a rough road but the majestic view always leaves me in awe. Have a lot of hostels and food stalls with very hospitable locals. Enjoy Baler!!!
