This place is superb! Was lucky to visit this place before in the ECQ. We came here January, good thing because we enjoyed the site alone. We are the first to come during that day. Entrance is Php 300 per head and Php 100 for the car 'cuz we actually brought our own service. The road is tight and only one car (sedan) can pass at a time. No worries, there will be a guide at the entrance to control traffic. There's a pub where we enjoy our lunch and got a taste of Baler authentic cuisine.

We went there october 30,2019 and it was raining hard. We still decided to go and when we got there we are the only people that time! We are amazed by the beauty of the cove. Sun decided to show up when we got on the top of the lighthouse.

I would rate this excellent forever!! Dicasalarin really gives you a heart melting view, even when you’re about to go there you will see a nice and captivating view from above before you reach the place. Even the road going there is scary but really have a nice view! It’s so scenic and amazing!🌹

Its an expensive place to go for budget traveler, but it was all woth it.
It does not feel like the usual Philippine landscape, and makes your proud to be a Filipino to have such a wonderful place in your country.
Feel the nature as you are tucked inside the cove with towering cliffs from both directions.
Climb the cliff with an odd looking lighthouse that will give you a view of 2 coves that are constantly smashed by waves of the mighty Pacific Ocean.

There’s more to Baler than just surfing.
If you’re looking for a quiet place away from the crowd with an awesome view,
then head south to Dicasalarin Cove.
You can get there by car, by renting a motorcycle,
Pedaling your way up the steep slopes, or even running if you’re up for the challenge.
Once you’re there, you can lounge in the white sand beach,
swim in the tidal pools and enjoy the scenic view from the lighthouse.
Check out the short video I made about the place. Link in my profile

Baler is known for it's surfing. If this is the main reason to go to Baler, then Sabang will be your best destination. If, on the other hand, you prefer some peace and quiet, Dicasalarin Cove will be your best bet. Tucked on the other side of a hill, one has to climb up which actually gives a wonderful view of the water. Then as you descend, you are greeted with lush greeneries. It's quiet, it's peaceful. You can come here for a day trip. But I heard recently that you can actually stay here by reserving one of the cottages. Being that we are already billeted in Sabang, we came here for a spur of the moment day trip. With no preparations, we were thankful that there was a restaurant that actually serves good food. You can order as you go in and just let them know where you will be situated in the resort and they will go and deliver your food once it's ready. Just a little word of caution, their servings are big. We were 5 and we ordered several dishes thinking we had 3 guys. But even with them, we were unable to finish our food. We had grilled squid, tokwa't baboy, kilawin na tanigue, ensaladang talong and an order each of sinigang na tanigue and hipon. And boy, we were already turning blue in our faces and still couldn't manage to finish it.
Back to the cove, you do have to pay for an entrance fee. But if you're a guest at Costa Pacifica, you get a discount. I think that's such a good idea for maintenance of the property. We did notice that the resort was well maintained. The grounds were clean, as well as the beach. The only thing I didn't like about it was tour boats are able to access the property from the beach. And with that, these tour boats bring litter and even crude oil to the beach. Hopefully, they would be able to do something about that. I would say early in the morning would be the best time to go there to avoid the tour boats and stay until lunch.

We visited the cove last May 14. It was a 34minutes drive from Costa Pacifica. It is a private property owned by the Angara's, we were told. Upon arriving at the gate we were greeted warmly. They need to send out information about who is coming or going since the road can only accomodate one vehicle going in or out of the property. It is the right thing to do since the road leading to the cove is really winding. be sure that your vehicle is up to the challenge of the terrain. There are some sharp curves along the way. The view is spectacular! You can see beauty of nature. Clean, crisp water from the road.
Since we are guests of Costa Pacifica we are given discounts, from 300 pesos each to 150 each including the cottage rent. For walk in's 300 pesos per head will aply.
There is a restaurant on site but we were disappointed that pizza is not available and pansit is the only available. maybe because it was early ??? we ordered around 9;40 AM.
The sand is white. The beach is clean. The water is warm perfect for a dip!
We were not able to visit the cave with a lagoon and the light house since we are pressed of time but we do visit the Artist village, and it was a disappointment. It is a building in the center of a forest nothing else. There are paintings here and there but you can see that it has been empty for some time :( No activites what so ever for visitors to do and yes no one to welcome you.
Be there early when going to the cove since it can be busy with people.
They have a shower area for you to rinse. We were disappointed for the shower area is really old and beat up! There are 2 shower rooms, one is with a broken door :(
There are 2 toilets also old and worn :( With the money that this property is earning I do hope that they can fix these issues.
Over all it was an experience woth taking !
Looking forward for another trip here soon!

How much is for 15 person? Does the kids under 7 yo below have to pay there entrance also?
Can we go there for camping? like setting up our tents and we just have to pay to costa pacifica?

Yes you can but only during the day. I don’t think you can camp there overnight.

Hi, I would just like to ask if we need to pass by Costa Pacifica to buy entrance tickets or we can go straight to the cove as walk-ins? Thanks :)

Is there a parking space in Dicasalrin? Can a car reach Dicasalarin or is it too steep or road too rough?
AldenM
Cabuyao, Philippines189 contributions
Hi there, yes there is a parking area at Dicasalarin cove with an estimated capacity of around 8 to 10 cars.
Though the road to the place after entering the gate is quite narrow and steep.
I guess you just need to slow down as the road can barely fit two-way traffic.

any suggestions about renting a car going there?

I think it is more practical to rent a tricycle since they are very familiar with the place and they know where to take you. I, for an instance, have someone in mind who was really nice and accommodating. We rented his tricyle the whole day for just P900 (maximum of 3 passengers) & he took us to Dicasalarin (he knows someone from there). If you are more than 3 in the group, just let him know and he has friends who can accommodate you as well. His name is Wendell and his contact no. is +639099283851. He is trust-worthy & you can rely that he won't take advantage of you. P.S. on the way to Dicasalarin Cove you'll have to take the Habal-habal & Kuya Wendell can drive for two passengers.
How much is the entrance fee to Dicasalarin Cove?
