The zip line experience itself is great. If you’ve never zip lined before it’s a good one to start with. The parking gets crazy as this is a tourist hot spot so if you’re driving, get there before lunch. The elevator is sketch. The ticket price was 41000 won each, it included island entry and the ferry ride back. I did not see any options to purchase any photos or videos anywhere. The employees were able to help us in English. There are two options for the zip line, one going straight to Nami and another going to Jara (Family pack vs Adventurer pack). If going to Nami, I’d definitely recommend doing this.

The official website shows a height limit of 140cm. Our son is 143cm. When we arrived, the lady at front desk took one look at him and said he’s too short to ride. When we insisted that he’s over 140, she reluctantly allowed him to measure against the wall. There was no height chart, just a blue sticker. He had to take off his shoes then she used a flimsy piece of paper and pushed him down so his heels weren’t against the wall and declared that he’s below the sticker. Parents please be aware that the height limit is 145 NOT 140!! The website is false and misleading!!

We wanted to make sure that we had some fun in S. Korea and saw more than Seoul. We enjoy the outdoors so when I read about Nami Island, we knew we wanted to go. While reading other reviews about Nami Island I saw there was an opportunity to zip line in! The adventurer in me was fixated and determined.
We went to Nami Island with a KStory tour group led by Ben. He helped us save money on the zip line by just paying for our entrance, not the ferry and giving us the other money back to pay toward the zip line. I think the cost was about $30 usd a person or less.
We arrived, passed to a staff meber who spoke English and sign up and payment was quick. We were given a boarding time that was an hour after our arrival. We took the time to walk around, watch the boats and water games on the water, shop at the gift shop and cafe and watch others zip across. The time passed pretty quickly. We were in the elevator to head up on time. There was a bilingual staff member at the top and he explained safety instructions to us. Within in less than 20 minutes from reaching the top of loading dock my daughter and I were off, with a Jana-line Zipwire selfie stick no less. I loved it, the pacing was good, fast enough to feel the wind and a little thrill but not so fast that I was screaming the whole way and missing the view. My daughter however, who is much lighter than I, moved at a snails pace. Poor thing didn't get any excitement, but at least she didn't get stuck over the Han River.

I'm kind of disappointed because my gf & i weren't able to ride the zipwire due to the bad weather, friendly staff refunded us the ticket money and we moved on to the nami island via ferry instead.

I almost skipped the zipline after reading in one blog that it's too cold to be done in winter. Glad I did it cause it was so fun. When we came it was a bit later in the evening so the queue was not long & there was waiting area equipped with heater so that was okay. It was unforgettable experience. You can use your phone to record the experience if you have strap attached to your phone, otherwise don't take the risk.

Really fun to try it in cold weather. This what I liked from the whole nami trip. I recommend it for you. It cost around 38,000 KRW. Worth waiting if there is a queue because nothing much to do in nami island. Smile at the end of the ride as they will take your photo. It costs 15,000 KRW for the photo. Probably they will allow you to take camera if you have the strap.

Too expensive and too long to wait
If you like the extreme activity, I don't recommend this activity. So slow.

We were initially scared when we saw how high the tower was but it was not scary at all. Very exhilarating. The guys operating the zip wire are very professional. If you are carrying a bag or wearing slippers they will ask you to take them off and put them in a bag that's attached to your zip wire. They don't want your stuff falling out. Do book in advance because it is very popular. You might have to wait a long time to get tickets if you don't.

It awesome and it ain't scary at all. Initially I thought I would feel gravity drop when we were glide out... in fact, it glided out steady and stable wires... with absolutely no sudden drop feeling. It's daebak! 대박!
