One of the many highlights of our stay in Camotes. Had lunch in a boat while enjoying the view of Lake Danao. It was a very enjoyable experience with the family. At one time, we stopped at this small island and the captain and his second mate took a lot of pictures, beautiful pictures from a birds eye view. It was raining but we didn't care, we had a blast!

This lake is ok for a look if on a tour of Camotes. It's cheap entrance and can enjoy a coconut drink or boat or kayak ride. Not much else to do here.

It’s a huge lake with boating, kayaking, horse riding etc.
The restaurant is nice with decent menu.
It also has a zoo with few animals like crocodiles, monkeys, turtles etc but kept in poor conditions.

There is a roughly 18 kilometer loop around the lake which makes for a pleasant walk. The trail is sometimes spotty, but easy enough to follow. It isn't strenuous and you can likely do the walk in shoes or sandals.
I've seen references to people cycling the trail, but I really don't think it is suitable for that.
The walk is pleasant and you'll spot a lot of cute cows and goats along the way. There are plenty of opportunities to take photos of the lake.

Had a quick visit to this beautiful Lake Danao Camotes Island, plenty of shaded areas to sit and enjoy the view, with a wide choice of eating areas to choose from.

The lake is hyped because there’s little else to do on the island. From what I saw, I would not swim in that water.

This lake is pretty and quiet. You can feed the fish for only 5 pesos, which my 3-year old son enjoyed. There is a restaurant that offers many items to eat. My wife had a shake and really enjoyed it. We were on a tour and only stayed about 45 minutes. We will definitely come back.

I rate it 5 out of 5 since they are really maintaining it, I'm not that kind of guy who goes kayaking in still waters, I prefer beaches or moving waters. This place is recommended for family vacationers or people who just wants to slack off.
Note:
- As much as possible go early in the morning to avoid the scorching heat in the afternoon

One of the largest lakes in Philippines with only visitation from the shore. Take a few photos and move on, There was an entrance fee. Would make for a wonderful lunch/dinner cruise if someone was inclined to start an operation.
