Overview
More
A cultivated desert garden where the graves of the former Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion and his wife Paula sit at the edge of a steep cliff overlooking the magnificent landscape of the Zin Canyon and the Avdat highlands. The paths leading to the graves pass through a cultivated garden with indigenous plant life that thrives in the arid climate and saline conditions of the desert. Ben Gurion’s hut on Kibbutz Sde Boker has been preserved as it was on the day that he died, and it is open to visitors who wish to learn more about him. The national park has a picnic area, gift shop, hiking and camping equipment, an information center and cafeteria. The park is accessible to people with disabilities and is open throughout the day.

A great visit to Ben Gurion's tomb, home and gardens. The view from the burial place is breath taking. If you can visit do not miss this place.

This is a great excursion after a visit to the museum of Ben-Gurion. The humble gravestones of David and Pola lay in beautiful scenery overlooking Zin desert. A visit to the canyon Ein Ovdat is highly recommended, it's only a short drive down the road...More

Visiting Kibbutz Sde Boker, seeing Ben Gurion's hut, hearing his story, and viewing his gravesite with the Zin River as a backdrop is Negev !01. If it strikes your fancy, drive past the solar farm @ nearby Ashalim. Were he alive today, I believe Ben...More

The eternal resting place of David and Paula Ben Gurion lies above the Zin riverbed, which is another reason to visit it. Set inside a small park, the peaceful site encourages reflection on life in general and Israel in particular. Rather than seek to be...More

Popular for school tours, this park is frequently visited by students. Wild goats are wandering around everywhere. The park also offers a good panoramic view of the Valley
