Overview
More
It started about 10 years ago as a butterfly farming project for export. Over time it was transforming into an area that offers a diversity of environments allowing for a wide range of niches where there are many species, ceasing to be a simple butterfly to become a true Ecological Garden. Apart from a butterfly and frog garden, we offer bird watching tours, wildlife spotting, and a camping site.

We really enjoyed our night walk with Crystal in spite of the rain. Lots of frogs and moths and tiny tiny little white bats. William has created a really beautiful little wildlife haven.

We went to look at William's White Bats (seemingly resident on the property) but got a bonus nature walk with loads of birds, two other species of bat, and some fantastic frogs

We passed four hours around their Paradise, with the generous owners. We have learn a lot about the nature of the jungle habitat: birds, snakes, frogs, insects and butterflies. A very good souvenir in my heart!

While in Sarapiqui I participated in Selva Verde's morning bird walk (fair at best), Tirimbina's morning bird walk (very good), La Selva's morning nature walk (very good), and Chilamate Rainforest Eco-Retreat's morning nature walk and their nocturnal nature walk (both very good plus). However, far...More
