We arrived around lunch - with no reservation - while waiting for Jose to come back (5 minutes) we were offered cold drink. The place is not tourist trap and it is worth a visit. Beside seeing frogs, snakes, sloth there is also variety of birds and the owners are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Great place to spend an hour or 2 on your way to other sights.…

Jose is an amazing guide ( and photographer!!! ) and gave us a lovely tour . very knowledgeable. It's a family owned business and they make every effort to sustain and conserve the area ecologically. This is much better than the big tourist traps you will find across the main roads.…

We were today with Adrian, he's the father of Jose who help us to arrived at the place by whatsapp. Adrian was very nice guide, he was looking for all the Frogs that he could find for us and explain to us everything around the Frogs. We saw toucans, different birds, trees and a snake. Great experience …

I love this place, Jose and his team are great hosts and the variety of nature at Frogs Heaven is simply stunning and is indicative of the great variety of wildlife that is present in Costa Rica as whole. I have now been fortunate to take part in 3 photographic sessions at Frogs Heaven over two visits to to Costa Rica, the first time in June 2019, where my friend and I were so impressed with Jose, that we utilised Jose to arrange a second visit in December 2019. The workshops concentrated on a wide variety of Frogs and on a second day snakes, but also take note there is a wonderful variety of birdlife at Frogs Heaven, if you are a nature photographer and visiting Costa Rica you must hook up with Jose. Jose and his team have a great knowledge of the Costa Rica's natural assets and are fantastic hosts. Muchas Gracias amigo, I look forward to spending time with you again.…

We arrived here around lunch time without reservation but … that was no problem at all. We were welcomed warmly by various different people. While waiting for a short while we were offered fresh pineapple. Then our guide , I must say, passionate guide, José took us an, a tour for about 2 hours. We saw quite some frogs and snakes. Then we went on to the open bush trail. Very informative .…
