This is a beautiful cathedral , it's worth seeing whenever you are in Carlow . Parking is a bit tight in the area ,but the visit is worth it .

Nice peaceful visit on a wet and windy afternoon, just off the main street.It was the second Catholic cathedral built in Ireland after Catholic Emancipation

I visit the cathedral whenever I am in Carlow. Peaceful sanctuary to sit quietly in away from the busy shopping streets. Beautiful architecture and stained glass. Lovely place for a quiet moment.

We were lucky to encounter a singer/ pianist practicing for a wedding - marvellous voice and beautiful songs. The Cathedral is very light and open and we enjoyed visiting.
