Kids enjoyed making puppets and discovering the museum. We discovered that they host birthday parties too.

The castle courtyard has amazing views, and is free, it's not a part of the paid museum. When I was there people were just sitting and eating lunch looking out at the lake. This isn't one of those museums set out like 'how people used...More

Nyon is a great little town to visit and this museum is small but has lots of interesting rooms to explore. Allow an hour for the museum and a couple hours to walk around town.

I kind of like Nyon. Cute little town. Good to walk around on a good weather day. The chateau is located in a nice square with passage leading down to the lake.

The chateau gives great views out over anyone and the lake so pick a good day to visit. The museum was closed when we went so I can't comment on that part. Nice slice of Swiss history in a very nice town.

A rainy day, which appears to be the rule since Christmas, and we went to visit the castle. Beautifully arranged and kept very neat. It was also a prison and stories about the "guests" are touching.

I've been to Nyon several times and it finally worked out for me to spend some time at this museum. You enter through the bottom floor and then there is a circular stairway for five floors. The first several are mainly displays of porcelain, but...More

Its a large lovely castle in a serene Swiss surrounding. One can spend 1-3 hours easily walking around the castle interiors and the ground surrounding it, depends how much they want to know about the property. Alot of details regarding the history and the use...More
