I always go into the churches in Europe. this is a nice small church. Nice architecture. Worth the time to look inside.

This is a nice very old church. It has some beautiful frescos that date back to the 15th century. You visit this church quickly and take everything in.

The church crypt dates back to 11th century and the tower was started in 1469. Reconstruction was completed in 1891. Great view of this church from the river.

Enjoyed statue of St. Goar on the side of the church. St. Goar aka Sankt Goar is patron saint of innkeepers, potters, and vine growers.

This church of St. Goar, past from Catholic to Protestant. You can see a lot of older artistic elements, like the crypt of St. Goar, from the 12th century with frescoes of the 15th century. The town, later was give the name of the Saint.
