Romantic Road Day Trip from Frankfurt (Main) to Bad Mergentheim (SATURDAY)

He stands at the window and gazes into the extensive castle garden where, every year, "Spring lets her blue ribbon flutter in the breeze again". The life size bust of poet Eduard Mörike and the Cabinet that bears his name are only two of the numerous highlights in the impressive Museum of the Teutonic Order (Deutschordensmuseum). After the visit, we ask ourselves: shall we carry on walking in a north-westerly direction through the spa gardens and then relax in the Solymar Thermal Spa, with its view of the roofs of the town? Or go back to the market square and enjoy a cup of coffee in the shadows of the half-timbered houses? It’s so lovely to be spoilt for choice …

Kurpark is a beautiful place to hang around and relax. There are varieties of trees and interesting figurines. However, stay off the grass so if you plan to laze on the grass, the warden will tell you not too.
