The museum was nice but not overly interesting. Consists of about 10 rooms. The star of this building is the gardens behind the palace and the view from it. On a clear day you can easily see the Alps

A nice palace (not a castle because it has no fortification). Not a must C but it's ok. A beautiful view to Lake Konstanz though. Nice garden too. They have decent restaurante.

When in Meersburg one should also visit the new castle located next to the old one. Open only on Saturdays during winter and everyday starting from 1st of April. Beautiful gardens and view from the castle.

We were greeted at the welcome desk by a lovely poodle who seemed to be the receptionist. The Schloss itself formed an interesting contrast to the Old Castle nearby

Meersburg ist the best place to see the difference between Schloss and Burg. Schloss is very elegant and it has wonderfuld view and wonderful garden

Expensive for not very much, only one floor able to be visited and of that only half of that floor which is mostly a museum.... Best thing is the free view through the entrance on ground floor on square and out through onto the terrace...More
