Wonderful old city with timber frame houses. Castle sits high above the city. This is a difficult hike for a view of the town and the Rhine.

If you've always fancied living in a castle, then this is the closest thing to actually experiencing that dream!! Romantic, historical, well-preserved, tastefully modernised where needed (phones, electricity etc), with an overabundance of atmosphere and class, this is an amazing place to stay. Certainly not...More

Stayed in the tower, with a private balcony overlooking the Rhine. Dinner was incredible. Those chefs know what they are doing. It was fun to explore this adorable town after a breakfast we never wanted to end. Plenty to see and do here if you...More

Great staff and to die for views of the Rhine River below. Had a room in the old tower, which is 64 steps up from the lobby. Free parking and breakfast. Had a fire going in the library .
