We took the boat to the church and the ride was fantastic. The echo of the trumpet in the middle of the lake was fascinating. Koenigssee had lovely restaurants around the lake and the fish was delicious
It was a wonderful, easy, peaceful outing surrounded by amazing mountains and greenery, I spent 3 hours just walking around the woods, looking at the lake and just drink in the serenity of this place. Simply beautiful!

We understand that the winter is over and spring hasn't begun but the service and enthusiasm was pretty poor up here.
One you are in the boats you are a captive market. I'd suggest bringing your own lunch and drinks.

Get down at the last stop - Salet. You can go walking to Obersee. Hike. And then get back to the pier. Make sure you start early. The ticket counter is crowded and the last boat leaves sometime between 16:00-18:00
