Cached a rainy day for this tour but still was amazing. Full details from the guide. Visited some pit stops, and it was an amateurs race as well. Cars available for rent to run on the circuit. Interesting museum and souvenirs shop for good prices.

This location is very important for all who are interested in Race and Tuning. The Hockenheimring is one of the spectacular racetrack in "race"-history. You can visit many different raceseries ( Motorbike,Drag,Tuning competition, Truckrace and DTM/F1)

If there is a race happening, Hockenheimring is the place to see it. Try to book your ticket with the roof (the sun can be harsh sometimes). Parking is a task, so be prepared to either come early or waste your time finding one. Happening...More

Second visit to Hockenheim for the DTM finale and really impressed by the organisation of the event, easy to get in and out of and the grandstands offer great views of the track. Great facilities to be able to get up close and personal with...More

Went on a private tour of Hockenheimring as part of a football tour to a nearby village. After a quick look around the museum, which is helpful to pass a bit of time but nothing special (the simulator is a nice touch, as is the...More

The guided tour starts at 11am and it's worthwhile. You get not only to both main tribunes, pit, photo space, but also to control room. And you can drive there in your car, at least on safety drive way. The tour was in German, but...More

Went for a stag do, camped adjacent to the race track and we had a great weekend. Not a lot to do in the surrounding village so bring your own entertainment, bbq and booze if possible.

I went there in summer and the weather was great. It's about 28 degrees with sunshine and the circuit is big. Highly recommend you to sit in the middle of the start/finish line. There are a lot of events at the same day F1 was...More

The circuit itself is good, but be prepared for walking long distances if you are coming by public transportation. We came from Mannheim (a good place for having the hotel) in a regional train on Saturday afternoon. The shuttle stop is in front of the...More

As I recall from my last visit to the GP a few years ago we were simply directed to a car park on arrival at the circuit, we didn't choose where to park. The part of the track where Jim Clark was killed has been returned to... More

Sorry I'm a little late to answer your question. The track is on the opposite side of town from the train station, but it is a straight shot and still not too far to walk. There are also busses that can take you. They leave... More
