Nothing is really original to the house anymore, but they have doen a nice job of reconstructing a typical house of the time and it is an interesting little place. They won't let you take pictures (which is annoying since it isn't authentic stuff), but...More

Quite ordinary museum, only with a rather sparse number of exhibits. Such situation must be corrected by the fact that here, unlike, say, in Beatrice’s house or in house at Baker street all things are true and had a direct relation to Goethe and his...More

You have to come here if you are in Wetzlar! It is worth it, to get a flavour of the time. The staff is enthusiastic - the lady who checked our tickets was keen to act as an informal guide as well.
