A great overview of the Dornier engineering of various types of airplanes - especially flying boats. Easy to get too on city bus.

The kids enjoyed very much the adventure they had in this place. Seeing and touching pieces of flight history vs other aviation means made the visit worth-wise. Very much recommended.

Situated at the airport, it is a nicely laid out museum, both indoors & outside. Across the runway can be seen the Zeppelin hanger, for trips around the area!! Not cheap!!

There is a lot to see. It is well organized and has English captions. There is a lot of history, but it is interesting to look at even if you aren't that interested in history. And it is not just historical - Dornier is also...More
