Just off Marketplatz the university church seems both active and ornate. It was impressive with the sun filling the structure. Definitely worth a stop while passing by.

St. Martin Church was located downtown near to the market square. The external facade of this church was impressive while the internal decorations were beautiful. I never thought that there would be such an impressive church in the middle of the town.

Located in the centre of the town just off the market square. We only viewed the church externally as part of our walking tour. Beautiful front facade so well worth a visit for this alone.

I found this quiet and meditative church to be a very special place in the middle of the hubbub of the central market and business area of Bamberg. The interior is so fresh, white, and the gold on the statuary stands out in a special...More

I don't think so, as my tour was in German by the priest who runs the church, but if you come here, they may have something for those who don't understand German.
