Konstanz can be manic in the summer months, especially around the Marktstatte area. Fortunately this church is but a few steps away from the square along Rosgartenstr and has a welcoming interior 'far from the madding crowds". From the outside it looks nothing special but...More

The Holy Trinity church originally was an Augustinian monastery church, built in the late 13th century. The simple Gothic style architecture doesn’t prepare the visitor for the rich inside decoration, the gothic frescos, the baroque sculptures and stuccos, the beautiful arches and the richly carved...More

It's not a big church, when visiting other ones. But it's the one having a wonderful sea view. Of course before you have to climb up the tower. I really loved the view of the Bodensee.

This is a very beautiful, peaceful church - formerly Jesuit, now Old Catholic. It is quite baroque inside in marked constrast to the cathedral.

This church remains a gem of art and architecture even after hundreds of years of history has passed. It was a lovely place to stop for a quiet meditative visit and/or a moment to dive deeper into the artistic and religious heritage of this city.

A real oasis of calm in a very busy tourist town. Well worth visiting; some stunning church art work in the baroque style. Take a good look at the hand carved wooden pulpit as well as the alabaster (I think) Stations of the Cross. The...More

Having visited many churches in my life such as Note Dame in Paris, or St. Stephens in Vienna, I can say that, while not of the same caliber, this church was quite enjoyable to visit. As all churches, the atmosphere inside is very peaceful. If...More

I have stopped in to visit this church a couple of times and each time it has been very tranquil with few visitors. It’s a nice place to contemplate and enjoy the decorations offered by this church. At the entrance there is a reading area...More
