The island is very pretty and has a lovely atmosphere. There’s a lot to do with children and the play area is amazing. The only drawback is the price but it’s still worth visiting.

We spent several hours on Mainau on an August weekday afternoon. It is beautiful and well worth a special trip. The flowers are beautiful and landscaping well cared for. Bird watching is also very good. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed this place. Fresh off the plane from DC to Zurich, we drove here in the morning and were not disappointed with the lovely gardens, water features and occasional whimsical offerings. There is not much to do in this neck of the woods, so...More

Hi, sorry for late response. I think it is enough time to visit it until closing as it is closed when the sun goes down. Meaning around 20:30. I think 3 hours is enough to explore it. However, it depends if you have kids or... More
