While at the fort we had a good look at the clock tower. It was constructed so the boats could tell the time. But they put the hands on the wrong way around so the short hand is counting the minutes. You can go inside...More

Old clocks in Petrovaradin fortress. They are beautiful at night and you can spend your time on benches around with view on the city.

Great story about the clock tower and why the time is wrong, wont spoil it for you though!! You can walk right up to it and the views from up there are amazing you can see for miles.

Nice place to snap photos and observe Novi Sad from the top. The clock tower particularly doesn't have to offer something. It's just a clock anyway... Worths to go all the way up the castle to check the panoramic view.

Seen from miles around, the Petrovaradin Fortress Clock Tower has been a fixture in Novi Sad for centuries. It is unusual because the hours hand is larger than the minutes hand because it assisted river travelers more from longer distances.
