We visited on a day trip to Calais from Dover. Although fairly small, the museum itself is worth a visit as it has some interesting pieces. However, the staff at the front desk are unpleasantly condescending and spoiled an otherwise pleasant visit.

Great exhibition on serge gainsburg and Jane Berkin. Costs 4 euros but well worth a look around. Some splendid art, old and modern. Helpful staff and nice atmosphere.
