What a great beach. The beach is very long, wide and clean, perfect for walking along the shoreline. Abundant parking is located close by.

The beach is extremely long and perfect for a winter walk in the clean air away from the town centre. There is also a long pier that is used by local fishermen and various stalls along the way providing hot and cold drinks and snacks....More

Looking at the beach in the winter is very picturesque due to its bleakness. The cross channel ferry's in the distance.

Calais has some wonderful beaches. They are very large, very long and very clean. You can spend hours walking here.

The setting is marvellous. If you go early in the morning the tide would be low and you can walk for miles in an artist’s inspiring scenery. Beautiful even when the boats are going in and out from the port in front of you.

We regularly go to France and stay in Calais. We always have a walk along the beach even in biting cold winds but we love it. On a sunny day it would be glorious for kids with buckets and spades

On a clear day you can't beat a stroll along this small stretch of beach with the ferries passing by. Very close to the port of Calais. It is walkable from the ferry port.

Love walking on the beach in summer as it is shallow and covered by life guards but also like walking the promonade in the autumn as the air is fresh and clean. Good facilities with toilets available along walk and food outlets for snacks or...More
