We took the 2 cable cars from the big Parking area because it was drizzling. The 1st base is near to Pont d'Espagne, so when you return from the lake take the cable to only base one, and from there walk to see the bridge...More

A wonderful and challenging hike up (use two walking sticks!) leads you up to this mountain lake surrounded by mountains. Plan to spend some time there exploring, wading, jumping in (brrrr) and playing. We also ate lunch in the cafe there. Unparalleled view!

Hiked there early april with snow everywhere. We had hiking boots and that was fine. Hiked back via closed cable cars over ski slopes. Good fun!
