We came here as it's the only beach on this part of the coast where you can take your dog. Due to this, around entrance 60 (the only authorised section for dogs) pretty much everyone has their dog(s) with them. The paid parking is directly...More

A great beach for me is the kind offered in South East Asia, so thats what I rate against (I'm thinking white sand, crystal clear emerald waters, mountainous backdrop). So what we have here is a long Beach, not too busy, with grayish sand and...More

This beach is really unique, with the sand dunes where you can find birds and rabbits. There are showers near the dunes, restaurants on the beach, free shadow parking, all that you need is here.

A fantastic beach. Large and spacious and far from crowded. The sea is very shallow for quite a distance and there are plenty of bars scattered along the many KM’s of sandy beach. We loved it.

This is the only beach in the area where dogs are allowed. It's beach access # 60, almost right across from car parking. It's very well maintained and - believe it or not - clean, and therefore also a lot of dog-less people can be...More

We hung out at Grand Travers twice and found the water warm, the beach wide and nice and the club amenities nice but a little expensive. Not much by waves but a great place for beach walking.

All tourist information says there is nothing easier than getting to these beaches however almost everywhere we looked for directions had different and conflicting information, and we ended up having to wait an extra hour for a bus that did not show up when trying...More

Plage du Grand Travers is a nice beach near Montpellier. It is not too wide, yet several miles long, so although it gets quite busy it is still easy to find a nice spot. The water is clear, but currently still relatively cold. Great for...More
