France v England
Feb 2020 • Couples
Had a great day out for the Six Nations game England v France pity about the result as we’re English but enjoyed our day. The atmosphere was excellent a couple of minor moans there aren’t enough toilets for a large stadium and my partner had her perfume confiscated on entry “because it was a glass bottle” speechless!

My wife and I attended the six nations rugby . The ground was easily found by the train system from central Paris . Great ground , good facilities and support staff friendly and helpful. The match atmosphere was brilliant

Nice stadium

A nice stadium easy access expensive to eat or drink. 1% beer at a rugby match is disappointing. Good venue

Six Nations Rugby at Stade de France

What a fantastic day at the Stade de France, fantastic facility, very well managed, good food and beverage in abundance, happy smiley faces everywhere before the match, a few more sad ones amongst one sides supporters afterwards. Great rapport between the fans of both sides, security was very professional and carried out at the right level.

Stadium Tour

Very well organised and informative tour guide Cindy. Our group was small and a mixture of nationalities but the tour was in English. Great tour if you enjoy your sport. Our tour included a visit to the museum which was very good too.

An entertaining tour as you "visualize" you're walking onto the pitch with Messi, Griezmann, or even Zinedine Zidane!

We enjoyed our 1.5 hour tour of the Stade de France with an English speaking guide who showed us basically everything a soccer fan would ever want to know, and/or see of their favorite players locker room, shower facilities, big screen tv display, coaching videos at half-time with a pep-talk, or seeing the sample team shirts displayed safely behind glass partitions. Our guide showed us through the passageways, to and from carparks to their locker rooms, secret doors, and elevators, and security drop-off points for VIP's . It's like Fort Knox in terms of security. Privacy, and protection are the utmost of concern for the world class players. I loved the tour, and I'm over 64 (lol). My only regret was missing their game by two days after our adventure holiday in Madagascar. Oh well, hopefully next time.

France v Moldova
Nov 2019
Our visit to Paris coincided with the game and as a keen football fan I bullied the Mrs into going to watch. We squashed ourselves onto a ludicrously full Métro from central Paris. Apparently some bloke was touching her derrière. I had no idea as I’d been shoved elsewhere on the train. I would have informed him of my strict “if you touch her, you keep her” policy if I’d known.

She was also delighted to sit there in single figure temperatures watching a load of blokes she’d never met kick a ball about. We cut a deal to watch 70 mins of the game to avoid any repeat of the touchy feely on the way back.

The tickets were €20 euro each, we were in the 2nd tier behind the goal. Decent view of a fabulous stadium. We got a burger each and a drink which wasn’t mega expensive and unlike English stadium food was edible. A pleasant surprise.

The pre match pomp and ceremony was probably the highlight with the french giving it their all during a rousing rendition of La Marseillaise. The team duly responded by going 1-0 down after 9 mins when Lenglet inexplicably headed the ball up in the air several times before getting brushed aside as Rata sent the Moldovans into raptures.

The rest of our experience was spent watching a workmanlike french team create golden chances for Olivier Giroud to squander. I don’t like to criticise people who are clearly far better than myself, but seriously, has he won a competition to play for France? He’d probably look out of his depth kicking a ball round with my mates and I on a Monday night. I reckon any one of the 64,367 fans could have bagged a hat trick if they had taken his place.

France equalised when they bundled the keeper over and scored, the ref seemed to bottle it when it was a blatant foul. Later on Giroud scored the winner from the penalty spot after we had left. How he’s on penalties I’ll never know but at least he scored. Shows how much I know about the game. Well played Olivier.

All in all I was glad we went. Not sure the Mrs would agree!

Went to the France vs Turkey FIFA game

I am not a huge football fan but my daughter and granddaughter are so, since we were in Paris, and this game was scheduled, we HAD to go. Huge stadium, masses of fans but it felt actually cozy and friendly, despite the huge police presence outside. Our seats were quite high up but we could see the field just fine and the two Jumbotrons helped of course. It did take us quite awhile to get into the stadium, which was not helped by us having arrived on the other side of it and being shepherded all the way around outside of it. Security was very tight but considering modern times, we didn’t mind that one bit.

Excellent tour
Aug 2019 • Family
This tour is one of the best stadium tours I've done. Not much of a football fan myself, but my 9 year old loves France so the tour was a must do activity. It's hugely interesting and our guide was so engaging and informative I actually remember so much information about the stadium. Our guide was an Italian girl whose name I cant recall but began with S. The tour went at a good pace, plenty of time to take photos and very interesting place. This was also easy to get to on the metro M13.

BTS concert June 2019

Special thanks to the RATP staff for the public transport organization. Everything went smoothly and we save a lot of time going to/from the stade from/to our hotel in the Halles area. The concert was grandiose and the stade is well maintained, with enough lavatories for ladies.
