The Ile is a world away from mainstream life. Beautiful beaches and a lovely harbour are the heart of the island. The gardens however are the jewel in the crown. Refreshing and different they make a visit to the Ile complete. All comes highly recommended

When you land on the island go up slope next to the cafe and follow the signs for the gardens. Lovely cafe half way (about 10min)

We spent a day wandering around the Ile de Batz yesterday, and really enjoyed it. We took a picnic, but there are several places to eat if you are not going too far off the beaten track. The gardens were beautiful.

I loved my day trip to Ile de Batz from Roscoff. The island was so different from the mainland, with beautiful views and sandy beaches. It is a must-see.
