Set in the middle of Sarlat every visitor should call in at the start of the visit. The staff are always eager to please, being knowledgeable not just about Sarlat but about the surrounding Dordogne and Perigord. Definitely a must do in Sarlat.

During my stay I visited the tourist office 3 times. They have lots of information about walking tours and what to do whilst in the area. The visits were quick as queues went fast as information was given freely.

When travelling to Sarlat, make this your first stop, very friendly staff, where you can pick up a map of the area.

There are so many things to do, places to visit and attractions in the area that a visit to the tourist office is a must. We choose a semi-private tour of the caves taking 8 hours that was excellent as a rainy day activity. One...More
