A very interesting and poignant museum. Brilliant tour guide that showed us around the outside part of the museum after the film. Very knowledgeable and a great story teller. Well worth a visit.

Interesting memorial, however no military discount is available. My farther who is a veteran of the RAF had to pay full price. I think this was unfair as the majority of other museums offer a discount to veterans who served.

A well laid out and extremely interesting museum which recounts and celebrates the daring and bravery of one of the most famous British actions of D-Day. Best not to miss out, this is genuinely fascinating for adults and kids alike.

There is still a bridge over the river, but it is not the original one, which is in the adjacent Museum, and there are memorials to each of the three gliders that landed with metres of the bridge. In the museum, apart from the original...More

One of the most dangerous and audacious attacks against the German occupation of France, just prior to the D Day allied landing on June 6th, 1944, was the secretive pre-emptive, night time glider landings of 240 British soldiers of the 6th Airborn Division at Benouville...More

Visited last month, worth a visit and lots of information available, with plenty of displays both inside and out!

Crowded but first class museum and guides. Both Gondree and opposite restaurant, crowded and slow but the location compensates. Easily understood events. Suggest going to the museum first and then the site for better understanding.

What a bridge to see and the engineering it must have taken in that time to do this. The museum is also fantastic to visit where there is even a live presentation and lots of history

At least a couple of hours.......There are exhibits outside, a short film to watch and other exhibits inside. Also worth visiting nearby Cafe Gondree.
