Worth visiting excellent display and hard not to admire the skill and workmanship. Must admit to purchasing some items for home.

An interesting shop, also selling all kinds of 'alabastro (albaster) items, from small souvenirs, to lamps. Albaster is a rather soft kind of natural stone, often used for carving. A nice place to visit indeed and to look around for a short while. But we could resist the temptation of buying something there, because we didn't need anything. Not a cheap place, BTW.

We went as part of a group and looked around at hand-carved alabaster objects on the shelves and in the storeroom. There were around 30 of us crammed into the small shop, but then the craftsman began turning a demonstration piece on his lathe. Alabaster dust shot into the already hot atmosphere and nearly choked those standing near the lathe. No good for anyone with hay fever or a respiratory condition. Be warned!

Very big schop of souvenirs at every price category. You can buy a art-deco vase for 2000 euro and you can buy an alabaster paper for 3 euro.
