This was a real surprise on my hike of the path of the Gods from Praiano. Can't believ how old the old Chapel is, and the view from the terrace is breathtaking! At the convent do stop with Dominic and Lili (his little dog) for...More

We climbed the 1000 steps from Praiano and the views all the way up are breath-taking. Ideal if you want to join up with the Path of the gods walks. They hold concerts outside which must be good but none while we were there.

My esteemed spouse and I hiked the one million steps up to the convent today and I am so glad we did. Yes, it's a lot of work, but the beauty and serenity that is there makes every step worth it.We got to spend time...More

We walked the Santiero Degli Dei from Praiano to Nocelle and passed this deserted convent on the way. It's a good hike from the town but once there, the views are stunning. The 14th century frescoes and the abandoned cells are worth the hike alone,...More

Beautiful spot, great views, despite the need to climb 1000 steps to get there. Made us appreciate our pasta at dinner. There is a man with a dog who sells drinks at the top if you're desperate.

Hiking is one of the features of our vacation without it we are not vacationing , going up to this place with its serenity and the view is really beautiful not only mentioning the simplicity of the convent which is nice and great feeling.

We started the climbing of over 1200 steps from Praiano. The "Path of Gods" from Praiano to the church takes about one hour to one hour and a half depending of your speed. Wearing good shoes makes it easier. When you get up you will...More

We walked up to the convent from the village of Praiano below. It is steep with a lot of steps, but not too taxing if you are reasonably fit. It is well worth it as the old convent chapel and building is interesting and the...More

The best way to see the convent is to take the bus from Positano up to Nocelle (the last stop). From there it is easy to find the Path of the Gods. After a fairly easy walk of about 2 hours, you will see the...More
