Visiting this pedestrianised street is an extraordinary experience. The modern multinational shopping brands are all here, but nothing can distract from the wonderful Venetian and Renaissance frescoes on the first and second floor facades of the buildings. Walking along it guarantees historic and architectural heaven....More

The good thing about this place is that it is not swarming with tourists. It's a nice laid back place, almost sleepy. The street runs right through the historic old town. It has got some beautiful old buildings either side and also some high end...More

This is a little hidden so on arrival we were disappointed. However we found the old town and it was really worth visiting. It is essentially one street but you can feel the history.

Nice mix of shopping, restaurants and history. Venture down the side streets which all seem to have hidden treasures.

We really liked this place. It was very pretty and there was a bench close by, where we could sit and see the river and Contrada Maggiore.

Pordenone, everybody thinks about industrial part of Italy, surrounded with agriculture. Not really. It is more "off the beaten path". Historic city center is only five minutes (on foot) from Hotel Montereale (where we stayed). Corso Garibaldi and Corso Vittorio Emanuelle II are pedestrian zones,...More
