We stayed in Mestre and travelled to Venice by tram. It's quick and the trams run very often, so you never have to wait long.

Regular and in time .an ideal form if transport with a travel pass. They get pretty packed and more often than not you have to stand but great convenient way to travel

You can use tickets for either bus or tram. there are regular services into Venice (approx every 15-20 mins?)

Nice value for money, quick service although it can be vey crowded because is the more common service transport for tourists.

if you stay in the metre buy a pass for land bus and water bus. it works out cheaper and the bus stop is directly outside the hotel. i are believe the buses are approx every 15 minutes and go to a square once at the square... More
