Go to the first floor of the Palazzo Apostolico and admire the views then wander the several floors of the museum. Entrance 6 euros, 4 for students. The exhibits cover many centuries and include mainly paintings, furniture, some ceramics and tapestries. Definitely worth seeing although the information would benefit from an English translation for tourists. There are many stairs although I think a lift is available. Most of the exhibits have been donated to the Sanctuary. There is even a bed and furniture from the Papal Chambers. …

It is worth visiting. I would say that it is one of the attractions of Loreto that one should not miss as you visit Loreto.

being called the "Museum of the Antique Treasury" I expected to see ...well...gems, stones and the like. Nothing of that: the museum suffered two robberies and most of the precious pieces were stolen and never recovered. There is however a very large collection of china dishes and some other interesting artifacts, but not enough to justify - in my opinion - the entrance fee.…
