We spent the best hours here, during our stay at Lake Garda. This little place is magical.
The historic buildings are located at the top of the foothills of the bay. A small enchanting café nestles along the small, narrow stone paths next to the historic buildings, with large parasols along a small area along the bay.
Sitting at a small table, the sun on your face, an espresso or a glass of prosecco in front of you, watching the landing boats that let some guests off ... and looking out over the vastness of Lake Garda ... wonderful!
La dolce vita !!!
When we were there, a photo shoot was taking place in the historic building.
A colorful teem with entertainment value ... wonderful
Prices are in the higher price segment, but that was worth every cent to us.

Like a james bond movie! One of the highlight of our italian journey. we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the picturesque surroundings. Punta San Vigilio was bustling with activity when I decided to stop for a quick aperitivo. The terrace was filled with patrons, each table seemingly occupied. Despite the crowd, the atmosphere was lively and convivial. It was a simple yet perfect moment of tranquility by the lake.

The beach is equipped to offer the best possible services! The head lifeguard Lorenzo and his staff were the added value; friendly, kind and competent. I can't wait to return to spend a relaxing day in the Gardesana paradise. Well done 👏👏👏👏

We used to come here regularly, it wasn't cheap at 14 euros per person, but otherwise it was very nice and acceptable.
We wanted to go back today, but at 30 euros!!!!per person, it's not justified.
Not even if showers, deck chairs, etc. are included.
What justifies such an excessive price, sad....

Loved this place - so atmospheric with lovely views across Lake Garda. Lunch is various salads all beautifully made and delicious. Not cheap but great tasting and super healthy. Very friendly service - thank you Maximo for being so welcoming. Once we sat down loved all the people watching.

Unique setting, simply gorgeous to have a drink with the a A wonderful and unique setting, waves lapping next to you and the ducks and swans wrestling for any scraps you can spare.
Initially went for a drink, par for the course at 8 euros and after a while used google translate to request a salad with anything other than meat or fish - I asked for mushrooms but they were not available, I asked for avocado which is served with the prawns and was told it was not available, melon was offered as a substitute.
One or two Buffalo tomatoes came sliced and served with three small mozzarella balls, there was a small bowl of mixed salad with shredded carrot and sweet corn with some baby rocket leaves and another plate with 4 pieces of melon.
It wasn’t great but I made do, and then ordered a dessert, 10 euros no problem.
When I asked for the bill, the total requested was 67 euros so I queried it. 41 euros for the salad! A prawn salad was 18 euros, a lobster salad 28 euros - but a pretty basic offering for a salad was being charged at 41 euros.
I spoke to the waiter in a low voice and getting nowhere asked to see the manager, who promptly asked where I was from. My reply was that I was English. He said that when he was in London he had to pay a high price for a coffee and I should pay the bill without question.
He then said something about calling the Police and I offered no objection, but wanted to speak with the owner because he said the waiters have to make up the shortfall in any receipts. Then he muttered something about Brexit and we should leave the EU - I assume he meant the English - and told me to pay what I wanted. I asked him not to be rude to me and until he stopped I would not pay the bill.
He then gave me the card machine and I paid, I feel generously, 25 euros for the salad and then in full for the drinks and ice cream, 50 euros on total.
After having done so another customer who knew nothing at all about what I was disputing then hollered “you come to Italy you pay the bill otherwise you go home.”
Please don’t let this put you off, it is a unique experience but please do as I didn’t and if seeking something without meat or fish ask what it will cost. Why I was asked where I come from told me all a I needed to know about the response of who I assume was the manager/head waiter.
First time I have experienced anti-English sentiment for a long time and/or I have queried a bill which was nothing short of extortionate.

Punta San Vigilio is an enchanting paradisiac peninsula property of the aristocratic family of the Counts “Guarienti di Brenzone” located in the east coast of Lake Garda, ~50 min by car from Verona, 5 min from the lake resort village of “Garda”, and it is widely regarded as one of the most romantic spots across Europe. Its fame has grown thanks to it being an elegant/picturesque retreat cove that has long inspired artists, philosophers, writers and politicians such as Napoleon, Tsar Alexander II, Winston Churchill, Prince Charles, King Juan Carlos of Bourbon, Lawrence Olivier and Vivien Leigh, who slept on its shores at the XVI century “Locanda San Vigilio”, a luxurious hotel facing the idyllic bay. The walk towards the bay is epic: along a cypress lane down a cobblestone path through crenellated medieval gates, lit by the light of old lanterns you reach a patio where past a threshold you flow into the pier. Here you can nowadays have a meal and drink under the restaurant pergola. The road towards Punta San Vigilio is as well breathtaking: Bordered one side by majestic vertical cliffs and on the other by the limpid, luxuriant green waters of the lake. The nearby “Parco Baia delle Sirene” (= Sirens’ bay park) is the most famous beachside area close to Punta San Vigilio. There, (Open Jun-Aug; 9:30-19:00; tickets: 10-13€ Adults; 6-3€ kids 3-12 yo; Prices variable depending on the entrance time: <14:30, <16:30, >16:30) via a path under the shade of olive trees, visitors can reach a spotless beachside with two dining spots, a small ice cream parlour and wooden picnic tables available. Enjoy the magic of this place with respect for its history and make sure to preserve it for future generations.

We stumbled across Punta di San Vigilio on a walk along the lake from Garda. A couple of places along the route are Just passable but well worth the walk if you persist. You eventually arrive at a little café right on the edge of the headland which is a super place to stop and take in the sights. There is a delightful park at the top of the lane leading up from the point. The whole area seems to have been left to nature.

The restaurant is located on Lake Garda. The tour group stopped here for a late "al fresco" lunch. The house wines were light and wonderful. our meal was fresh and tasty. The lake view could only be described as "idyllic.

Enjoy a drink in one of the area's most exclusive locations. You will pay for the privilege but the location is out of this world.
