Best Place to Visit in Town
Oct 2019
Loved this little castle, it is quaint and a great place to visit if you are in town. The tower has a small entry fee and lots of steps to make it to the top. Once up on top, you get the best view in town!! A great place to get a sense of the area...

Excellent views!
Aug 2019
We decided to walk up to the castle which was just about manageable in 33 degree heat. Worth the walk, excellent cafe/bar/restaurant in the grounds of the castle with a well needed cold drink. Castle is interesting but the views are what makes it!

Nice walk up to the Castle
Oct 2018
One can take the walk up to the castle by following a thick brown line paiinted on the ground near the main square. the line goes up all the way to the castle and one can view some lovely scenes on the way. Lovely houses and peaceful surroundings.! Upon reaching the top, nice views from up there of the town beneath you and the mountains at the back with some snow on them. ~We did not enter inside the Castle as the view from the grounds was quite enough for us.

It is worth to climb, the garden is very nice, the tower is interesting and one can feel the touch of past centuries
The view from the top of the tower is astonishing, especially as it was New Year's Eve

Lovely views

A short walk from the main piazza (uphill) or drive takes you to this castle on top of the hill. Great views of the mountains and a lovely garden to stroll through. We missed going inside as we visited during the long lunch break.

Nice castle
Aug 2017 • Family
I visited the castle 3 times in the last 8 years and my intention is to visit it again soon. It is small, but nice. I like that it is not crowded and it has a nice restaurant in is garden, which has good ice cream. In order to get to the castle you can get the opportunity to have a nice walk through the allays on the castle hill. The only problem is that most of the time it's incredibly hot for my taste.

Great views!
Jul 2017
On a clear day you can see for miles! The museum is small but interesting--several paintings, suits of armor, archaeological finds.
A few tips: Large vehicles will not fit. you must park somewhere and walk up. There was a small lot on the left just before the tunnel.
No A/C--it's an old castle:)
There's a small restaurant/snack bar on the top. The menu was small but inexpensive, again, unbelievable views! (We want to go back just to eat at the restaurant.)

Entire visit took just over an hour.

Beautiful area
Jul 2017 • Family
Climbing a large hill is required to get to the castle. The views are amazing. There is a small fee to walk inside the tower, about 3 euros, worth it for the views at the top alone, but the art and artifacts inside are amazing also. We walked up and they were closing from 12:30 until 3:30 so we walked back down to find a spot for lunch. Highly recommend this little city for its charm and beauty. They have signs and a painted line to follow as you walk where the walls of the city used to be. Loved our day in Conegliano.

Ancient but cheap
May 2017 • Couples
Entering it you expect something extraordinary, instead of it you find a local museum with cheap mixture of antiquities. But restaurant outside is fantastic. Jus ask for gnocchi and prosecco.

Beautiful castle however...

You only get to walk a little bit of the grounds. The views were beautiful. I would have liked to have gone inside like we have at other castles but apparently they don't allow that. The pedestrian trail up to it was a pretty walk.
