Rich sulphur spring with Turkish bath, standard pool, nice trails with various spots to chill. The food is outstanding! A little back in the country, but not too bad. Land in Rome, and an hour and a half later, all travel stress is gone. Great way to start an Italian vacation.

At 4.50 euros for two people for two hours (and that includes the parking fee!) these are the best value thermal baths we have ever been to. There are four pools and some very hot water but no frills - only a café and picnic area - if you want frills, go to a more expensive baths. The baths are well known and well-used by the locals and they were surprised to see us (we were the only non locals there when we visited). It is a great place to spend a couple of hours and there are good views down to the sea and harbor from here.

Cruise stop at Civitavecchia. We loved Ficoncella as an alternative to a long trip to Rome. Taxi from shuttle bus stop cost €50 return but baths cost €1.5 per person. Coffee and snack bar reasonably priced. The 5 baths were quite busy but you can find a space. The water is hot and very soothing, I would definitely recommend.

We wanted to try Italian thermal baths and chosed Terme della Ficoncella because it was close to our accomodation, Rome, it is very cheap (1,50 eur for adult, free for children, 2 hours, 1,50 for parking - but you can park outside if you want. It has basic toilets, showers and dressing rooms. Some of the locals arrived in bathingsuits and robes (by car). Take water for drinking and slippers. Enjoyed hot water, nice scenery, no tourists, local people relaxing in/by pools and talking, fantastic afternoon! Combine with visiting nearby Terme Taurine for thermal bath historic knowledge.
