Enjoyed the artefacts a lot and lots to look at. Very reasonable price for admission. All displays with Italian and English narrative. Small but much to look at and excellent specimens of Truscan well preserved history.

Small but excellent

The museum has a very interesting display of Etruscan materials from their earliest times to the conquest by the Romans. The funeral materials were amazing, but also the Greek pottery and general influence. As a Hellenistic scholar I found degree of Greek art and myth surprising.

Small but impactful

This small museum packs a punch. The ancient items are easily seen and appreciated. It is well presented and a welcome addition to the overpowering museums in larger areas. It gives a real appreciation for the early Etruscans.

You could spend hours there!
Apr 2019 • Couples
Very nice collection of Etruscan artifacts from several tombs in the area. It added to what we learned at the Museo Claudio Faina. You could spend hours here just admiring the art. Unfortunately, none of the signage is in English.
Entry is part of the 10 Euro combined ticket with several other museums on the piazza.

Don't miss it

The Museum is small, but fine. The real prize is the offsite tour of the Etruscan tombs. You drive yourself and meet your guide there. They give you a map as it is 3 km out of town. Guide spoke no English, so we couldn't ask questions. It is easy enough to figure out what you are seeing if you have done this Museum plus the civic. Museum underground tour.

I learned more about the Etruscans from this museum than I had known before. They have a fine collection of artifacts. Definitely worth a visit.

Great museum and fantastic tours of Etruscan tombs
Sep 2018 • Couples
The tombs tour was thrilling. You have to reserve your tickets for the tour as it is led by an archeologist. Be sure to sign up for all 4 tombs. They take you on a small van to each of the tomb sites several of which the cave paintings are in amazing condition. The museum is small but chock full of terrific artifacts. The town of Chiusi is charming and authentic.

The museum is located near the main piazza. Very well presented artefacts of the earlier inhabitants - the Etruscans.
