Like 'Alta' already indicates, you have to climb uphill to reach the old and higer part of Bordighera. It's my favorite part of town with narrow streets and little squares. The central square is the Piazza del Popolo with the lovely Maria Maddelena church. Remarkable...More

Wonderful historical old town. Narrow alleys with hanging laundry above your head. Friendly people, a lot of tiny restaurants with only a handful tables. Genuine atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing, nice and awful place in the heart of Bordighera! The place looks like a stage set for a fairy tale Pinocchio. Quiet, tranquillo and safe.

Going there felt like traveling back a couple hundred years. Really old houses and pedestrian streets, build in such a way that you could feel how people used to live in the 18th hundreds. The place is like a maze, packed with tiny little restaurants...More

NIce old town with lots of atmosphere. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite quiet. Quaint with small narrow streets. A few restaurants but not much else. Worth a vbisit but don't plan on spending a lot of time.

We stayed in Bordighere for one night after spending the week in France. The old town was nice and quaint to spend the evening. In the old town lots of restaurants.
