I like what they’ve done with the place. Someone obviously has 2 loves: wine and art. We visited in August which meant that the vines are beautiful. We did the full art tour which took us about 2 hours. We had lunch at one of...More
We were renting a house in Provence and made a day of a visit to Chateau la Coste. Actually, we returned two days later for dinner at Francis Mallmann but that's for another review. Anyway, the property is stunning and well worth a visit for...More
We were taken here by friends on a very hot summer day but the terrace where we had our lunch was lovely and shady, the fountain in the middle helped to cool the place down a bit. The restaurant has a bigger menu but on...More
We recently had 3 nights in Aix-en-Provence and on recommendation from our bnb host, we took a drive to Château la Coste. We took the English speaking wine tour and tasting, which for 12 euros, we considered it to be good value. Our tour guide...More
Every now and then you eat at a place that has it all, wonderful food, great service and an amazing environment. Well today at Chateau La Coste we had it all. We had a table inside the restaurant because it was so hot outside. Perfect,...More
We stopped by the this winery spur of the moment and could not be happier. It really is a lovely place for families. They even provided a glass of grape juice for our kids as we tasted the wine.

If you can, make an advance arrangement for a taxi from Aix... not all drivers may be happy about driving out there without forewarning.
It's easy to find as long as you head for Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade from Aix since the chateau is on the left hand side of the road just 2kms before the village center, on the D14.
You'll see the main entrance first, and there's a second entrance just after, but that's normally just a service entrance.
If it's any help, the exact GPS coordinates of the main entrance are as follows:
If the driver puts those into his GPS, he can't go wrong.
For the return trip, of course the staff can arrange a taxi for you. It would be safer to make a reservation the day before though. You certainly should not expect to get a taxi within 30 minutes or an hour though.
