Al Sifah is a friendly clean resort. It has scenic views, and a beautiful beach. Staff are helpful and the facilities are clean.
I would definitely recommend a visit.

Fabulous stretch of wild beach. Very little shade. Sand is very heavy so drive with great care (always someone stuck when we visit!). Beware strong rip currents if swimming, probably not very safe for young children. Popular camping spot especially at the west end under the cliffs. Can be a lot of litter.

I've been in Oman 3 years and this is still my favourite beach. The sand is paler and the sea clearer and more turquoise than Muscat beaches or any along the Batinah plain. The waves are bigger than at Yitti and it doesn't take hours to get to from Muscat like some of the wilder beaches to the south. The rocks (at the north end) aren't bad for snorkelling and provide good shelter for bbq's. It can get crazy busy during Eid but is glorious when deserted, such as on weekdays.

Visit The Bank at the harbour for a meal and drinks. Good menu and helpful staff. Pick a weekend when guests are there in numbers.
Best beach is north so bring a 4x4 and flippers for the hot sand.

Nice beach. I enjoyed the view, breeze and sunshine. The beach is generally clean but could be kept in a better condition.

The Beach itself could be nice however the poor condition of the surrounding village encouraged us to leave this place asap. Yiti Beach or al bustan much better and even closer to Muscat.

About a 45 min drive from Muscat city is this gorgeous but very popular beach which is frequented by the locals and the expats and tourists alike either as a great spot for spending a sunny day or for an overnight camp. You can drive our car onto the beach however I wouldn't recommend it in a 2 wheel drive car. Since the beach see's a lot of human traffic there are public designated waste bins for dumping your trash and I HIGHLY recommend people to use them since we are facing planet wide ocean pollution problems (unless you have been hiding under a rock for 100 yrs!) and besides it is nice to be able to run or walk on the beach with your children and not have a bbq skewer or worse cut your foot open. The waters are pretty cool even in the summer and quite clear with Good visibility. Waves can get quite big with strong winds so beware. There is a village very close by and a couple of Glamping spots too so access to basic amenities is possible. There is also the As Seefah Golf Resort and the famous "Bank" restaurant and Bar on the other side of the coastline after the village . Safety is good and My family and I have camped here twice without any problems whatsoever. The beach is very busy on the weekends and does sometimes host big Beach Rave parties from time to time so best to go there on week days if you seek peace and quiet.

Superb beach not too far from Muscat - fabulous 6 start hotels and restaurants frame the beach. Go for the all day brunch at one of the top hotels and you won't be disappointed
