This is a site to behold at night time as they change the lighting on the domes as the evening progresses from sunset all the way through to sunrise. Very nice inside also.

Brand new mosque in Muscat. We liked this one more than Sultan Kabus mosque. There are not such nice gardens around, but the the mosque is amazingly new a clean, made of white marble. And you will meet no tourists here, which makes really nice...More

One of Muscat’s beautiful mosques. The building is very beautiful and it has as well a library inside. Going inside where the prayer is I would say one of the very beautiful mosques inside. A must visit while touring the city

Spectacular at night, with domes and towers lit up in gold, and the white mosque walls lit with stadium white lights (but which make the mosque look blue from a distance). A little tricky to get to the parking place, but pretty once there. I...More

This mosque is relatively new, so very few people know abiut it i guess, but it has beautiful architecture and is built on a height, so has nice views of the city from the exterior courtyard.

I go there every week for Friday prayers. A very beautiful mosque indeed. Only one thing is not good, there are no markings for prayers. The lines made are not straight when everyone stands for congregation prayers.

Hi, yes the mosque is open to non muslims. You just have to bring your own suitable clothes, as they don't rent any. I went there in the morning, not sure what the official opening timings are. But you should be good to go... More

I think you can visit this mosque from 8 morning to 8 evening. There is separate entrance for ladies.
