Don't let the location put you off, this fabulous museum is well worth the effort. Combine it with a trip to Amouage and you have a great day out. It is obvious that this has been a labour of love and deserves more patronage.

Wonderful morning. So much information and history of dress, people and culture given by Julia. Some clothes available to try on, pictures may be taken. Museum still developing but we'll worth 1-2 hours if you have the guide to explain information.

Check their Facebook page for opening hours. As it hasn't opened officially yet, this lovely little museum is still in the process of setting up exhibitions on Omani men's, women's and children's dress and jewellery. However it is open to the public at least twice...More
