This is in my opinion the best wadi in oman with beautifully clear water running all the year round. I would take the dibab turn off for a magnificent drive up to the pools and waterfall. Drive is best done in a 4x4 and takes...More

We had a lovely couple of hours in Wadi Al Arbeieen for a swim and an explore. We visited as part of an organised day trip, so went by 4x4, which is what you'd need I'd say. There are lots of trails so if you...More

Off Road Drive with Omani Nature at its best. Little water fall for good swim. U can find place for children as well in crystal clear natural pool. Carry enough water and food and cap for all is advisable.

It's not an easy place to get to but the destination is well worth the trip. If you just like wandering round an old village or want a good walk in the mountains this is the place for you.

You need a 4WD to get till the end of the Wadi, from where you can go for a pretty long and intense hike through the valley. Would only do it in a group and if possible with a local guide from the village. If...More

Yes you can. If you know how to drive in manual mode. Only one place will crucial while coming back. If you have any company with 4W car and pulling belt, it’s better. When I went, I saw a Toyota Corolla.

sorry for the late reply. to my knowledge it is best that you rent a 4X4 and use google maps to get there. tour operators just want a quick buck and are unwilling to take just a few people to this location.
