We went to see the sink hole close to sea first and then Google led our way to this magnificent place through a dirt road (a four wheel car is necessary). The scenery is incredible, the colors are dramatic, the wadi is something not to be missed if you visit Oman. This trip will be in my memory forever

We were advised about this place by the owner of Wadi Alarbeieen Resort. It was just 10 minutes drive from the resort. The drive to the wadi from the main road and the drive back to the main road (via Dibab) was excellent!!

The wadi itself was very beautiful. The small waterfall added to the beauty! One can easily spend a few hours at this place!!

I would recommend staying in the Wadi Alarbeieen resort for a day and then explore the surrounding areas!!

The place was incredibly gorgeous, surrounded by mountains and natural pools. Really fascinating.
And perfectly quiet.
Tea and barbecue dinner outdoors, in a very relaxed atmosphere, allowing good discussion with other guests from all over the world (but not mandatory if you prefer to stay in your room)
The rooms were simple but the beds were comfortable.
The owner turned out to be even nicer than what we expected after reading the reviews. He gave us excellent advice about walking tours nearby, and when we left and forgot something in our room, he drove to Mascat to give it back to us. It was so kind of him to deliver our item in person.
We will never forget this place: it was simply magical.

Easy wadi to access within about 90 mins from Muscat. Rain can wash away parts of the track but earth-movers usually quick to fix. At the far end parking is a little restricted and the camping spots are often frequented by large wasps chewing up scraps of food left behind by lazy visitors.
On the long drive out to the highway there are many places to peel off the main track and have a picnic by the water. Does get busy but there's usually somewhere private to sit. Take a camera!

We drove through many wadi's, but this was the most beautiful and special one! We camped here for one night and swam in the wadi the next morning. Superb experience. Breathtakingly beautiful!

Nice drive up to the wadi and pleasant weather. Something different in the middle east. Worth a visit.
If possible, try camping here overnight and star gazing.

Within an easy and scenic drive of Muscat Wadi Al Arbeieen provides the perfect balance between a picturesque walk, great place to swim and jump/dive off rocks and wonderful drive through a 10 km canyon to the coast. Well worth shortlisting on any visit to Oman and Muscat. Its also en-route to the Bimmah Sinkhole

Perfect Wadi for families or groups of friends or both. My family and I have picnicked here a couple of times during the middle eastern winters since the summer is very brutal outdoors. Perfect spot to park your cars near the water and picnic. Water is always very cool and clean and the kids love to swim in it. There are multiple pools in this wadi and one needs to just drive around and discover. Try not to camp in the Wadi as it can be dangerous in cases of flash flooding. Using any Navi application will get you there and I highly recommend the route off the main road and under the bridge into the wadi from its mouth into the ocean. Please remember to leave nothing behind but footprints and pollution of public spaces and national treasures is a big problem in the Sultanate. Happy trails

Already the road there is spectacular. Due to its remoteness there are also not many tourists visiting this place. So it is a real jewel of peace and greenery in a rocky desert.
