In Charente Maritime, at 20km away from Royan, come and discover an authentic site of natural beauty (classified Natura 2000) by the river with a canoe. You will be seduced by the freshness and beauty of the landscape and surprised by this island filled with bamboo and wild sheep.The trip lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes and presents no difficulty. Family friendly. Open from 1:30pm in July and August (7/7), and in September (week ends only)

We went here this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner speaks English which helped. Definitely would go back here. Its very relaxing and safe (life jackets provided)
