My fave kasbah in Morocco because it was so surprising. It looks like ruins of a kasbah on the outside, but you can go in and there's beautiful tile. It's a trek to see it, but worth it. We combined seeing this with Ait Ben...More

Despite of not being on the main road from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, visiting this kasbah totally worth the detour, the bumpy road undergoing repairs and all the other efforts. Definitely one of the nicest kasbahs we visited in Morocco.

The used to be a magnificent palace but the lack of investment is a serious threat. Go there before it is too late. Unesco seems involved but not much happens there.

The Kasbah looks completely rundown from the outside. You may wonder "why bother"? Once inside you'll be surprised. Much of it is still rundown and/or has been vandalized, but there remain some rooms that are jaw-dropping when you walk in. Beautifully decorated and maintained. I...More

Wandering the halls and suites of this fascinating glimpse into the recent past of Morocco's history you gain a compelling and thought-provoking insight into what this area must have been like under the rule of the Glaoui clan. An amazing and slightly eerie experience.

A beautiful and magical kasbah that you should not miss! Even though the kasbah is partly in ruins today it is still fascinating and enchanting. This place was one of the best sights of our Morocco trip. This is indeed wonderful historical site that is...More

This was once a glorious palace and most of it is in ruins or deteriorated. Still it is a good stop amidst Marrakesh and Ouarzazate f you take the byway to Telouet. That way is also nice, but this Kasbah is worth the stop. There...More

This kasbah is in a very picturesque setting and well worth a visit. Although it has not been maintained, the ornately designed reception rooms are well-preserved and impressive. It costs 20 dh per person to visit. A colorfully turbaned guy named Mohammed is often around...More

We drove from Marrakech to the pass and then on to Telouet. The last 20km is on a very poor road but it is under repair and should be ready this summer (2018). The only thing in Telouet is the casbah but it's worth the...More

After driving through the narrow and steep mountain roads, you'll be rewarded by Telouet Kasbah. It's worth the drive.

Hi Nanbug, It will take you at least 3 hours, because you have to go through the mountains. But I would advise you to go first straight to Ait Ben Haddou (3,50 hours) enjoy the Ksar and stay overnight there. Then next day... More
